General

What does Keyscape Landscape Design do?

We design and build complete outdoor spaces, including landscaping, hardscapes, artificial turf, irrigation, lighting, and outdoor living — all handled by one local crew.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Upper Florida Keys, including Ocean Reef, Key Largo, Tavernier, Plantation Key, and Islamorada. Staying local lets us schedule faster and design for each island's exact conditions.

Do you serve Marathon or Key West?

No. We focus exclusively on the Upper Florida Keys — Ocean Reef to Islamorada — to provide the highest level of service. We don't take projects past Islamorada.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, and all work is completed to local code requirements.

Do you work on residential and commercial properties?

Yes. We complete projects for both residential and commercial properties throughout the Upper Florida Keys.

Services

What landscaping services do you offer?

Five core services: landscape design & installation, hardscapes, artificial turf, landscape lighting, and outdoor living — all from one team.

Do you install artificial turf and putting greens?

Yes, it's one of our most requested services. We install pet- and kid-friendly artificial turf and custom putting greens that stay green year-round with no mowing.

Do you build outdoor kitchens, fire features and pergolas?

Yes. Our outdoor living work includes outdoor kitchens and grills, fire pits and features, pergolas and shade structures, and gathering areas built to last in the coastal climate.

Do you do landscape lighting?

Yes. We design and install architectural, path and accent lighting on low-voltage systems, with timers and smart control options, to keep your property safe and stunning after dark.

Do you offer landscape maintenance?

Yes. Beyond design and build, we maintain landscapes so your investment stays healthy and pristine, our motto is Design, Build, Maintain.

Design & Process

What does the process look like?

Four steps — Consult, Design, Build, Enjoy. We listen and understand your vision, create a thoughtful plan with 3D design when appropriate, build with quality craftsmanship, and hand over a finished space made to be enjoyed for years.

Will I see a design before you build?

Yes. When appropriate, we create 3D designs so you can visualize and approve your finished outdoor space before construction begins.

How long does a project take?

Project timelines vary by size and scope. We'll provide a schedule before work begins and keep you informed throughout the project.

Do you handle permits?

Where a project requires permitting, we coordinate the necessary permits so the work is done properly and to code.

Pricing & Quotes

Every project is different, so pricing depends on the size, materials and services involved. We provide a detailed, no-obligation quote after an on-site consultation so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you offer free quotes and consultations?

Yes. We offer free consultations and detailed proposals for every project. Request one through the form on our site or give us a call.

Keys Climate & Care

What plants and materials work best in the Keys?

Salt-tolerant tropical plantings and hardscapes built for the islands' coral-rock base and salt air. We design every project specifically for the Keys' sun, salt and humidity from day one.

Is artificial turf a good choice for the Florida Keys?

Yes. Turf stays lush and green without mowing or heavy watering, holds up to salt and sun, and is pet- and kid-friendly, ideal for the Keys lifestyle and waterfront homes.

How much maintenance does artificial turf need?

Very little, an occasional rinse and brush keeps it looking fresh. There's no mowing, no fertilizing and no brown patches, which is a big reason it's so popular here.
